  I moved to Chicago from out of state and was in the process of buying a condo in downtown Chicago. I had doubts about the square footage noted in the listing associated with the the unit I was interested in. I retained the services of the Leja Group who's associate came out the very next day to perform the appraisal walk through and measure the unit. Three days later I was provided with my valuation which confirmed my doubts about the information in the listing; the unit in reality was 200' smaller than reported in the listing.The price was inflated according to the falsely advertised living space of the unit. Intern, I was able to negotiate the price down to an amount consistent with the true measurements. I had other questions which the Leja Group answered in a very responsive and professional manner which made sense. The appraisal was comprehensive and most importantly, the value was accurate. Thank you Leja Group for saving me time and money I would have potentially lost otherwise. These guys are top notch! I highly recommend them!

  We had a recent appraisal from this company. They sent a person who didn't work for the company and didn't know which company was subcontracting him. We had some concerns about our appraisal and started an email exchange with the owner, who provided the appraisal. He believed he was being attacked in this email exchange and wrote back a very non professional email telling us "to step back". I do not recommend this company.

  When I decided to flip my first investment property I was referred to the Leja Group by my broker. I was provided with excellent customer service and stellar response time. The appraiser met with me the very next day and walked me through the best and most cost effective way of completing my renovation and get the most out of my investment. I'm happy to say I sold the the house after just over 30 days in a competitive market which made my first time investment experience a success. Thanks guys!!
