  These officers have been the coldest, most disinterested but always well fed group of women I've ever encountered. I tried to give them information today regarding an "Uber driver" that attempted to get me in their vehicle last night. I have the make: Honda, silver. Illinois plate number V 88 5005. Nothing REALLY happened to me. There must have been a language barrier. I didn't report it last night. All I wanted them to do is take the make, color of the car with a PIZZA DELIVERY cardboard sign in it and the above referenced plate number in case these guys have lured others or perhaps gotten away with something terrible. They weren't interested. I had two witnesses including my REAL Uber driver and my neighbor. Fear not good neighbors, for I got the treatment I expected from this "police department" diner. They don't care and prefer to eat rather than do their desk jobs. Old woman with ponytailed white hair is the WORST. If anyone reading this has had a similar experience with the car I described, I hope you're safe. Rest assured, this group of officers won't be going out of their way to help you. But they always make sure you feel like a moron by telling you everything you did wrong. Not my first trip to this station. I was in a hit and run. A wonderful witness followed the driver. She found out more in a few hours about the driver who hit me and when I took it to this same department (again everyone had food on their desks) and all were waiting for someone else to make eye contact with me, they weren't interested in taking the information. Why? They don't have time for every "minor" crash as long as no one is dead or seriously injured. I suggested for future reference perhaps it would be best if I hit someone, knowing I'm at fault, it might be more lucrative for me to just flee the scene and I'll get away with it - just hope I didn't kill or injure anyone ? The officer just shrugged her shoulders. Wow.
